Human Rights

One right I believe every human should have is freedom of speech. I think this right is very important because this way people could express themselves. Another right I think is very important is the innocent until proven guilty right. Now this is a very important one because you might get arrested but you're actually innocent.

Description

My neighborhood actually is very nice and quiet. The houses are two stories, medium size houses boring most of the time. Nice neighborhood, straight and narrow roads. They are siteing's of deer, raccoons, snakes, owls, etc.. Hispanics are the minority. The hills are fatal if to walk home. It's special to have two cousins living one block away. Most of kids around go to school together. It's a couple miles away from Safeway and Walery's which is a good thing.

Learning

Something I've learned outside the classroom is how to respect my elders. My mom taught me this trade. That's really big in her family I guess. I try to but if someone disrespects me I'll do the same.

Influence

Friends have actually influenced me in a bad way. I actually grew up with these friends of mine and went to elementary and middle school together.They started doing drugs, joining gangs, but I just think I'm blessed of being free from all that. Now my family has influenced me in the most positive way.

BLOG

If I had a short time to live I would spend most of the time crying. I would visit all the people I love and care about. Also I would try to have as much fun as I can. One of the places I would head to is Six Flags because that's my favorite place.

Trapped In Mine

If I was trapped underground in a mine I would probably miss my freedom the most. Ofcourse the first thing I would think of would be my family, but just knowing that your going to die there is sad. And for those poor people that tuna could of been their last meal. My last meal would have been a two entree plate from Panda Express. I look up to these people very much because they never showed self pity and always had hope.

Time I Was Scared

One of the times I was really scared was when I had a dream that I had gotten shot and killed. It was terrifying and it seemed so real it was almost as if I could feel what was happening to me. I awoke dripping sweat because the thing I fear the most is death.

Breast Cancer

I think breast cancer is a very deadly disease. I actually had an aunt who died of breast cancer not too long ago. It was sad because I didn't even know what breast cancer was.But adays you hear about it, specially in the month of October.The NFL sponsors it and has a foundation to help and raise money. I'm guessing it was a rare disease to hear about back in the days, but now you hear about it everywhere.

Type Of Job

The type of job I want to do is maybe working with other people.In the future I'm planning to work somewhere in the law enforcement area. I do not want to have the jobs my family has, not saying they're bad or anything,but I do want to be the first one that attends college.

Karma

One of the things I strongly believe in is Karma. I believe that in life whether is good or bad it would most definitely come back to.

I was in seventh grade which I attended Robert J. Frank middle school in Oxnard, California. I remember school was out and I was walking home with couple friends when we decided to break this cars window. You know young middle schooler's being stupid. During that same week my mom had boughten a very nice BMW. Days passed until I was on my way to school and their it was the front BMW window shattered. I was disappointed and realized about what we had done and it came back to haunt me. From that day on I started believing in Karma.


Karma is very important to me. I first heard the meaning of Karma when friends used to tell me "don't do it or Karma is going to haunt you down". I know not all people believe in Karma but have you ever had done something that wasn't right and the similar thing happened to you?


What Karma really is the effect of a person's actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person's existence, regarded as determining the person's destiny. Karma has really changed my attitude and actions. Now in days I think of things over twice before I do something.

Conclusion Karma is one of the believes I believe in. I believe that if you do something bad it will come back and haunt you in the future.

Things I Believe In

One of the things I strongly believe in is Karma. I believe that in life whether is good or bad it would most definitely come back to. Another thing I believe in is family support. Either if your stuck in a hole or just hit the lottery, I think family is always there with their support.

FREEDOM

To me freedom is a way of living. But freedom is not always freedom. If you have freedom you still have restrictions. Yes, I do believe that freedom is a privilege. I also think that freedom is a must.

Racism

Yes I still do believe racism is still around. All that KKK still exists I think but not as bad as the old days. If I ever see some racism going on around me I would not do anything unless is towards me.

Neighborhood Bully

I remember my neighborhood bully being this tall, slim African American named Tyron. He was about 13 years old and I was 12. We went to the same school and every time we were out in recess he would trip me. He would also take my backpack and throw it into the girls restrooms. This went on for about six months or so until I found out that he was afraid of ladybugs. So on my first recess I would run to the grass in search of ladybugs. I would hide them in my pocket and when he approached me I would simply take the ladybug out. From those days on he never really bothered me again.

Favorite Toy

My favorite toy as a child would be pretty much any cartoon figure. I also liked Hot Wheels a lot. They maybe were my second favorite toys. I remember I used to steal them from my friends. That's how much I liked them. .

Parents Job

I think it's hard to be a parent. And I also think there's a difference between having a teenager, and a little kid. Yes it changes the difficulty. The younger they are the more work you have. Now most teenagers don't need as much attention as a little kid.

People Beliefs

I think people are born with their beliefs. They do get them from their family. I think it is a thing that goes on and on. Most people stay with their beliefs as they get older but others do change them.

STORY

One Friday afternoon my friend invited me over to his house. We were chilling searching the web when we heard a loud boom downstairs. We both panicked and dared each other to go see what was going on. Then all of a sudden the door slammed. After a few minutes we heard someone slamming the dishes. We didn't know what to do and ended up crawling out the window of his room. Since that day on I have never entered his house again.

School

The subject that I enjoy doing the most is math. It's been my favorite since I could remember, it's what I'm best at too. I like puzzles and I consider math like puzzles to me. Now science is a whole different story. I hate it plain and simple. I think it's boring and so hard. It's just too confusing for me and half of the time things that they say I don't even understand.

Summary

Well so far, Ann and her family are still hiding. It's over a year now and a lot of things have happened. So there's eight people in total that are hiding, Ann, Mummy, Margot, Daddy, Mr.Vandan, Mrs.Vandan, Peter, and Mr.Dussel. They also have five helpers, Mr.Koophus, Miep, Elli, Mr.Vossen, and Mr.Kraler. They all live in the attic (I think) inside this store. Ann and her mother don't seem to get along very well. Anne and Peter seem to be very good friends now but I think there's a crush involved. So far I think this book is very good. But at some points I get confused.

Spring Break

I didn't really do much during my spring break, other than that I stayed home and do nothing. It was a smooth break and I think I needed it. I did not read at all. I forgot I guess.

If I was in Amsterdam

If I was transported to Amsterdam in 1944, I think it would be scary. The first thing that I would of done was to try to get out of there. If that didn't work I'd probably go into hiding as well.

ANNE'S DIARY

I think what Anne writes is more about the present, and what we write is mainly about the past. Now we both write about real life events.

FREE TIME

I like spending my free time either on my computer or hanging out with my friends. I usually go to my friends house which is a block away from mine and we just hang out. Whenever I search the web I'm either on Myspace, Twitter, or YouTube. As you could see my free time is pretty boring.

What I Read In Book

It seems that Anne and Peter kind of like each other. Anne keeps on going to Peter's room repeatedly. I think they are going to end up going out. Also Margot's birthday has passed.

Scariest thing that has ever happend to me

One of the scariest thing that has ever happen to me is when I went to Mexico. The whole family went and we all stayed at my grandma's house. I slept in one of the rooms by myself. It was calm at first, but after about a week or so, strange things started to happen. On one occasion, my bed shook at night. But the thing that sticks out to me the most is right after I got done eating, and as I stood, this lady in black walked up the stairs. No, I did not go check if she was still there. I just never slept alone again.

Annes Attitude

I think Anne should maybe change her attitude in order to get along with her mother and the Van Daans. If that doesn't work I think she should just ignore them all. That would maybe make her mother and the Van Daans respect her a little more.

Crush

Yes I think I had a crush on a girl in middle school. I don't remember her name but she was the school's hottest girl. Now I'd never been in love with someone. I think love is taking it to the next level.

Relate to Book

One thing that I can relate about the book is Ann's patience. She did not complaint about one thing while being in hiding. I also think I have a lot of patience because I'm usually the one who doesn't care.

Yesterday's Impression

I thought yesterday's field trip was good. I think it was cool seeing someone who comes out in movies. I think the capital is a very fancy place. I didn't expect so many people there.

News

I actually get the news from T.V. At night I usually scan through the channels and end up watching the news. I think T.V. is the best way to get informed about what is happening. I also think is the quickest way.

I learned

So far I've learned where the setting takes place which is Amsterdam. Also I didn't know that Ann Frank was Jewish. I was aware that Ann Frank went into hiding but I didn't know it went on for years.

Love Is....

Love is someone who provides you shelter.
Love is someone who gives you advice.
Love is my mom who cooks food for me everyday.

Anne's mother

I think that Anne's mother is very mean. She acts more like a sister to Ann than her mother. They also get into a lot of arguments. Ann thinks her mom is always on her sister Margot side.

Reading at home

I don't really read at home at all. I'd tried but I end up doing something else. If I do read I would rather read the newspaper or an article. I like to read the local newspaper which gets dropped off at my house everyday. In order for me to get going on my reading I would have to read in a quiet place. My room is a good place to read in. I guess I'm not used to reading at home. I would rather lay down and watch T.V.

Anne's Quote

Well yes I do agree with Ann that people are really good at heart. I wouldn't say that everyday there are good people. But some point in their life everybody would have a good heart. And by her saying that doesn't means that people are going to be good at that moment.

Things that Irritates me

One thing that people do that irritates me is when they keep asking questions. They just keep going from one question to the other and I just don't know how to shut them up. One of the people that irritates me the most is my mom. When ever I come home late she'll start asking questions. I think I irritate my sister by me going through her personal belongings.

Things I Would Miss

One of the things I would miss the most if I went to hiding is my friends. Also I would definitely miss my dogs. But the thing I would miss the most is my freedom. I couldn't see myself hiding out for 2 years just doing nothing. I would guess that Ann should be going through a lot of depression.

Ann's Family

I think those people chose to help because they might had feelings for other people. Also they might have been in a similar situation were they needed help but nobody really helped, or maybe those people might be related to Ann's family.

Something that makes me happy

Something that makes me happy is Summer Vacations. When ever I have my mind out of school I get really happy. I get more time to spend with my family. I also get more sleep of course.

T.V Show

One of the T.V shows I would rather watch is My Name Is Earl. It comes out on TBS and I just recently started watching it. I'm not a very big fan of T.V shows but this one seems to be very funny. It's about this guy name Earl who used to do really bad stuff. And he started to believe in karma. So he made up a list of the things he has to make up for.

Anne Frank

Well I know that Anne Frank was a young girl that wrote in her diary. I think she was Jewish and she went to school with Jewish only. She couldn't go swimming, talk to Christians, and they could only go shopping for certain hours. She died at a young age I think.

Stood Up

The time I remembered I stood up for someone was this lady that needed help translating. She wanted to ask a clerk at Target a question. So I helped her out. It wasn't anything nothing big but I felt like I'd just stood up for someone. It actually felt good doing something for someone in need.

My Weekend

For this weekend I'm planning to watch the Dallas Cowboys play against the Minnesota Vikings. I'm really excited and hoping that the Cowboys win. I'm also going to go visit my brother in Portland. While I'm there I'll most likely go to the mall and stuff. Since we have Monday off I will go to sleep really late on Sunday. Other than that just spend time with my little brother Mike, play some video games.

Character

David and his friends had planned to go camping next morning. But it didn't work out as they planned. They didn't have a ride and nobody's were available. So it came to the day they supposed to be at the camping site. David had an idea of borrowing his dad's car which they ended up doing. So they started the car and they were on their way when suddenly David hit a pole. So they didn't end up going camping but they did end up with broken bones.

Haiti Earthquake

My first thoughts of this image is that the earthquake hit hard. As you could see houses fell apart and caused landslides. It seems like a terrible place to be living in after all this happend. I couldn't imagine myself being there having to see all of those people that lost their homes.

Story

David is a very interesting person because he gets angry for no reason. He's not the nicest person in the world. He would call people names without even knowing them. People, or girls should I say, refer to him as "Bigfoot". They think he's the ugliest guy in the world. He's 6'2 and weights about 200 pounds. He was also voted the hairiest guy in school.

Life Story

Well I was born and raised in Oxnard, California, lived in the same house all my life until I was about 14, attended Pacifica High School for about five months, and moved to Salem, Oregon. I've been living here since. I first started going to West Salem High and went there from my freshman year up to my junior. Now since I'm behind in credits I landed here.

Rule Broken

The time I remember I'd broken a rule was in school. The rule was that you shouldn't chew gum during school hours. They had a big problem with students chewing gum and throwing it on the ground. So that was one of there main priorities. So who ever got caught chewing gum had like a whole week of after school detentions. So it happend that this one teacher had seen me chewing gum. And I had to serve a week of detentions.

My Break

I didn't do much during my break other than for Christmas I stayed home with my family and we had dinner and opened presents. Next day I went over to my uncle's house and slept over at his house for a couple of days. We also went to the Rose Garden and watched the Portland Trailblazers beat the Los Angeles Clippers. Now on New Years day I stayed home and watch the Rose Bowl game.
