Favorite T.V. show

My favorite T.V. show out there right now is called "Jersey Shore". I just can't wait to watch the new episode today. In my opinion I think I'm their number 1 fan. There's a lot of drama that goes on in the show, and I think that's the reason I like it.

test

I'm going to prepare myself for the test by getting a lot of sleep. Also start off the morning with some good breakfast. Maybe reading everything in the test carefully would help. Motivation would also help I'll remind myself about everything that's at stake.

travel destination

Cancun would be my dream travel place to travel to. It seems like a nice, quiet place to go to and relax. The beach is tempting. It makes me want to swim in the blue water. Cancun is going to be my honeymoon destination for sure.

Essay

The "Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie was a great story in my opinion. I loved how the author of this book made it more and more interesting each time I read. I loved all the humor and sadness that went on in this book. Specifically, the plot of this book was very sad and humorous and was a great story.

I think this book was a great story because it kept me very interested. For example, one time I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next was when Rearden and Wellpinit were about to face off in a basketball game. Another time I couldn't wait was when Junior's sister died at the end of the chapter. For me to find out how she died I had to read the next chapter. This story was great because it kept me occupied.

Also the humor in this book is what made me want to read more and more everyday. In my opinion what makes a book good is its humor. I liked the way the author Sherman Alexie added very funny illustrations to this book. For example, one illustration that caught my eye was the one in the front page of Junior, the main character, showing his two lifestyles--Indian and non-Indian. Lastly, there was a lot of sadness in this book but I think the humor made it much easier for the reader to take.

The sadness of this book made this story much more realistic. I think for a book to be pleasing it has to have some sadness and happiness. One of the saddest parts of this story was when Eugene, Junior's dad's best friend, was killed by a gun in a alcohol dipute. My childhood friend also died in a car crash and it was very hard to deal with and I understand how Junior felt.

To conclude, the best part of this book was the plot. What made this book so amazing was its sadness and humour. The illustrations in this book were magnificent. And the sadness was easy to take with its humour. I would strongly suggest this book to any teenager.

Choice

My past weekend was so boring and lame. I was bored most of the time having nothing to do. I slept and watched T.V. most of the time, and listened to music.

Weekend

This weekend I'm planning to stay home all week and sleep. I might go out to the store or something, but that would be it. My weekends are all pretty much the same, plain and boring. I may also go out on a jog in the morning, that's if I'm not lazy. Maybe take my dog out for a walk. But the thing I'm doing for sure is watch Jersey Shore episodes I missed. I need to catch up on the last two episodes.

Competitive

I think I'm a very competitive person when it comes down to betting money. Otherwise than that I'm like, whatever. I usually compete with my brothers, friends, who ever pretty much. I get very mad if at the end I'm not the one at the top. I guess I'm only competitive when it comes down to gambling. For example, if my brothers and I don't agree on something, we bet. Since I'm a Lakers fan and they are Blazers we usually have disagreements on things.

Relationship

The best advice I would give Junior and Rowdy is to redeem themselves to one another. I think at the end of the day whether they hate each other or not they still have feelings for each other. I would expect Junior to be the one to make the move and apologize to Rowdy for making him feel betrayed. And what I think caused all this drama is jealousy. Plain and simple Rowdy thinks Juniors going to find a new best friend.

Moving

I think it has changed Junior alot from going to the school in the rez to the one in town. It changed his personality and made him feel from a nobody to a somebody. When Junior moves schools that shows that he actually wants to accomplish something.

Test

I'm preparing myself for the test tomorrow by reading alot. I hope this helps and maybe reading poems would help too. I'm also finishing packets I've been working on. A big factor for me would be getting some good sleep and going to bed early. That way I'm not sleepy or tired while taking the test. I was told getting a good breakfast also helps.

Stand Up

I don't recall having to stand up for something I believe in but I've seen people do it on T.V. at least. I was watching CNN and two politics were going at it. They were arguing about some immigration re-form which I had no idea what it was. I did not understand about 98% about what they were saying so I went ahead and changed the channel. They both seemed pretty mad so I guess they did not agree on alot of things.

Junior

I think Junior is a very intelligent kid. He's the kind of kid that pushes himself to be successful. He's a loner and everybody picks on him. He takes punishment pretty much from the whole reservation. I think Junior is very kind. He gets picked on and does not do anything about it.

Leaving Town

I think the Indians don't want Junior to go off to the other school because they know he's going to become popular. And I also think that they feel they're being betrayed. Also they feel like when he leaves they are not going to have anybody to pick on.

Bullied

I was a quiet kid back in the day. I was maybe in 5th or 6th grade.
Our class routine was whenever we went out to lunch we had to form a straight line. So we had to walk from class all the way to the cafeteria in a straight, quiet line. This dumb, stupid kid who always lined up behind me always tried tripping me. This went on for awhile until that kid didn't attend school anymore. I happened to find out that he moved out of state. I was relieved and happy.

Childhood Friend

My best friend growing up was a kid named Freddy. He lived right around the block in the second to last house, I remember. When we hit middle school we started hanging around with different crowds and that's how our best friendship broke. I have not seen or heard from him until this day.

Christmas Break

My Christmas break was really boring I could say. I stayed home most of the time laying on the bed. I did not get any presents because I did not want any. I just thought I was a bit too old for that. I ate Tamales which is a very traditional for Mexicans to eat on Christmas day. Now on New Years I actually slept all day and when I awoke up it was 2011.
